Topic > Vtd (virtual Test Drive)

“VIRES Virtual Test Drive” (VTD) is a tool chain and modular framework for providing virtual environments in engineering simulations for the automotive and rail industries. Virtual Test Drive (VTD) provides a combination of core task and data control, traffic and scenario simulation, image generator and sensor simulation. It is one of the most complete tools for the development, testing and verification of driver assistance systems, autonomous driving systems and active safety systems. VTD has built-in tools for road generation, traffic simulation, scenario generation, sound simulation, image generation and simulation control. It uses standard file formats established for the above purpose. Figure: Overview of the VTD system Vires structure: the overall configuration and organization of the data is distributed across three different levels: 1) Deployments (Data/Distro) 2) Configurations (Data/Setup) 3) Projects (Data/Projects) Data Configuration and simulation for runtime components can be found in all three levels. A so-called file finder is used to locate data by searching for it from the specific level (project) to the general level (deployment). 2.3.2 Deployments A deployment contains basic configuration and simulation data (e.g. visual databases) applicable to all types of configurations and projects (see below). The data is organized by VIRES when packaging the release. No user data will be placed in the Distros directory. The applicable distribution is symbolically linked to Current in the Data/Distros directory. This link can be changed by calling the selectDistro.sh script in the same directory. 2.3.3 Setups “Setups” represent different environments in which VTD should run. With the introduction of setups, a stronger concept of separation of platforms from project data was created. The following configurations are part of the default deployment: Standard desktop setup, single machine Joystick for 3-channel IG MultiChannel3 joystick/game wheel operation on multiple machines IG 2.3.4 Stereo Stereo Configuration Projects: Project data defines the content effective of a simulation. The project contains the different scenarios created for testing, the image generator and many other real simulation data are found in the projects. VTD Components: The sole purpose of VTD combines control, operation and simulation. The control of activities and data has an open loop operation. Frame simulation and control perform external and internal triggering in both real-time and non-real-time modes. Performs single step mode operation. The frame can be synchronous or free, as we can see in figure 1.3. Simulation and configuration control are dedicated to managing scenarios and controlling simulation phases. It can also work in master and slave mode. This also links multiple operations in team operation mode. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an Original Essay Traffic and scenario simulation assigns realistic densities and characteristics in urban, rural, and highway environments, including vehicles and pedestrians for over 100 entities. It also has a traffic light with controller. Realistic autonomous behavior and fully controlled behavior can make simulation options much easier and more comfortable for the user. It can integrate seamlessly with multiple externally controlled entities and can also connect to traffic flow simulation. There.
