King's essay and video enlightened me about Indian stereotypes, a stereotype I didn't know existed, even though I've been subject to it my whole life . I was subjected to this stereotype because of people like Curtis and May, who created the stereotype of Indians through images and writings. These stereotypes have continued throughout the years and can be seen in cartoons, films and pictures; but thanks to King's essay and video I now understand the Indian stereotype.
