What is the solution??Figure 2 - The Concept CloudThe TOC SCRS solution: The TOC-SCRS replenishment method is based on the supply chain TOC methodology of Eliyahu Goldratt's TOC theory. TOC is a strategy that helps focus on critical system issues. This model is applied in a wide range of areas such as supply chain, operations, manufacturing, finance, marketing, sales, strategy and tactics (Blackstone, 2001; Kendall, 2006). The TOC SCRS method is based on two strategies (Cole & Jacob, 2002): 1 - Replenishment time 2 - Buffer management TOC-SCRS is in fact a pull-based distribution model that emphasizes the supply side to respond as much as possible quickly as possible to market demand without depending on the forecasting model. The goal is to replenish more frequently and more quickly. Key steps to achieve the desired result by implementing TOC SCRS (Cole & Jacob, 2002): Aggregate as much stock as possible at the upstream level, i.e. the plant or central warehouse, and maintain a high stock buffer. Replenish as frequently as possible from upstream to downstream, preferably from source to customer
