Leaseholds have four categories: tenure for years, tenure from year to year referring to tenure from period to term, tenancy at will, and tenancy for distress referring to the owner with respect to 'tenant. The property for years can be considered a residential lease because it can last for a defined period of time, if it is recognized as a commercial or industrial lease for more than one year. Ownership from year to year, if a tenant retains possession of the property after his or her years have passed and the principle continues to own the property and pay rent. Real estate rights that may be owned by one or more people are considered co-ownership or co-ownership. Co-ownership consists of joint tenancy, tenancy in common, collective tenancy and community of property. Another right called non-possessory right is easements and privileges. Physical and economic are two types of characteristic real estate. The physical feature is defined as the land itself and the site improvement. The three types of physical characteristics of the earth are immobility, indestructibility and non-homogeneity. Earth cannot be destroyed or moved. Immobile means that it cannot be moved from one place to another, because the earth cannot be moved, it is immobile.
