During this week we discussed what persuasion is and how it is often used in communication. Persuasion is used in valid arguments and used directly in the use of language in general. To achieve persuasion, you also need to be careful about the words you choose to use and how you phrase things, the use of nonverbal and demonstrative communication, and the persuasive and valid arguments needed to work together. Persuasion is a more positive way to convince someone to believe something you believe by giving them facts and seeing if they agree or disagree with believing the same thing. In this assignment I will provide examples or persuasive approaches to the following audiences: a manager, a colleague, an inspiring person, and an open-minded person. I will also explain why each approach is different depending on the type of audience. When talking to a manager, the example of a persuasive approach I would use is when we talk about how to deal with shoes in a warehouse. The manager told me that every single pair of shoes would have to be processed one at a time and that that would be the most efficient and fastest way to get them onto the sales floor. My approach to this would be to tell the manager that processing all the pairs of shoes on the conveyor belt at once in one line and marking them with a marker for the price, labeling them and labeling them with difficulty along the line is much more efficient and effective. This would also allow them to make them faster and reach the point of sale more quickly. In this situation I'm trying to convince the manager to believe that my way of making shoes is much easier and faster. It also helps to convince the manager to demonstrate that my way is much faster... middle of paper... would be the easiest person to persuade on most topics. They may have different opinions, but they are open to anything and try anything. So reaching an agreement or disagreement can be easier, which makes them easier to persuade. Conclusion Overall, it really depends on the person, the situation, and the topic, as well as the outcome of it all when trying to take a persuasive approach towards them. . Sometimes it can be easy and other times it can be the most challenging thing you've ever had to do. Convincing someone to believe something you believe in while having the facts to back it up is challenging and can also be easy. Sometimes your tone of voice, body language, and how you phrase things can make a big difference in whether people will agree or disagree when you're trying to persuade someone.
