The TunnelMy unforgettable senior football season was coming to an end. The whole team knew that this would be the last football match we would play together. After this match, he would never be the same again. I had waited my whole life to experience what I would face in the next few hours. For me, and the rest of my hometown, high school football isn't just a game; It's a lifelong passion. I grew up watching my role models play the same game I was about to play, where the football-frenzied town of Mahnomen won four straight state championships. Since seventh grade, my team had been expected to make the state playoffs my senior year, and now we were playing for the state title. We didn't have anyone extremely fast, strong, or even intelligent on our team. In fact, no seniors would participate in college football. We were just some guys who would never give up, no matter the circumstances. Those guys were my team, as if I were leading them all into a battlefield, even if that was how half the other guys felt. My team had been nicknamed “The Cardiac Kids” for our ability to pull out a win. by one point, which we had done in six games that season. Critics thought that a team that managed so many wins by just one point was destined to lose its composure in the play-offs. All season we worked to become the team we are now. We were proud of how far we had come. The only thing left to do was play our hardest and see how well we would measure up against the best team in the state. All of this led up to the moment of the state championship game. From the changing room, we entered the dark tunnel that led to the nervous light of The M... in the middle of the paper... he actually didn't like how he wrote about things he didn't like to know, when he could have written about important things that he they were happening because he knew about them. This makes me understand better the importance of my article. I also changed a few things in the article. As you can imagine, when Dr. Morgan criticized the writing of "The Big Game," I thought, "Oh man, now I have to rewrite it all over again." As you can see, I decided to stick with my original idea, but focus on it in a different place. Instead of talking about what happened, I focus more on why it affected me. Like when I wrote: “Thanks to what I learned in that moment, I will be able to see when teamwork is needed and how to pursue it. You may not think this is such an important quality, but this connects me every day of my life. I think this helps to adapt the task better.
