I. INTRODUCTIONOverlay network technologies have become a very important part of the Internet today as more and more sites connect to each other around the world. Overlay networking technologies give you the freedom to implement any routing protocol and network design on the Internet. There are many proven overlay technologies, however they also have some shortcomings, which leads us to think of a more scalable and secure overlay technology. Some of the disadvantages of currently used overlay technologies are complicated configuration and network topology, difficulty in expansion and maintenance, inability of Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) tunnel to traverse NAT, inability of IPsec to support dynamic routing [ 1].Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network (DMVPN) is generally a combination of GRE tunnel, IP Security Protocol (IPsec), NHRP (Next Hop Resolution Protocol) along with some advanced features to help achieve more scalable solutions and robust to current problems. DMVPN can be used when the hub and speak topology is needed, for example in the case of the main site topology and the branch sites (Spokes). DMVPN reduces the configuration required on the hub and also significantly reduces bandwidth usage, as traffic from spokes can go directly to other spokes forming dynamic spoke-to-spoke tunnels and does not have to travel through the hub every time. This document is organized as follows. The second part will talk about the construction components of DMVPN. The third and fourth parts will talk about providing redundancy in DMVPN in case of failover and optimal bandwidth utilization using load balancing, respectively. The fifth part will discuss the dynamic routing protocol… half of the paper… relies on an insecure Internet network. Because you can create dynamic spoke-to-spoke tunnels, traffic doesn't have to travel through the hub every time, which reduces bandwidth usage and the amount the CPU has to process. DMVPN can provide highly scalable and hierarchical topology support using phase 3. It is very useful when a new branch site is created, as there is no need to add configuration on the hub routers. Due to the high throughput on the hub router, DMVPN is ideal for VoIP, as VoIP requires low latency and higher throughput. However, DMVPN is exclusive to Cisco and cannot be implemented on non-Cisco routers, and QOS policies cannot be configured for beam-to-beam tunnels. Despite having few flaws, the utility of DMVPN eliminates its drawbacks and is the most cutting-edge tool that should be used to connect an organization's remote sites.
