Topic > Upper and lower class social groups in Hanoi

Introduction: In the essay the discussion will be based on the upper class and lower class social groups in the city of Hanoi in Vietnam and how the social groups have different meanings and values at urban places. Over the past thirty years Hanoi has developed from one of the poorest counties in Asia and is now thriving among the richest countries and the population has grown dramatically 'overnight expansion of the city's population from around 3.5 to 6.23 million inhabitants" (Turner and Schoenberger 2012). Development and upscaling have left many major impacts on the country and its society, especially the poor. we see that many poor people have lost part of their livelihoods and have suffered as a result of the changes that have taken place, and that the richest have benefited from these losses. My resources come from research articles published alongside the readings assigned to this module. in my essay I will discuss my literature, the methodology followed by the main part of the research paper which will be the discussion section and finally my conclusion. In the discussion section it will be based on my findings along with my results. I have based this section in two parts, the first covers the development of supermarkets and the decline of traditional markets and the second part establishes the development of housing estates and gated communities and the decline of the agricultural sector to the decline of traditional markets. land used to build these private communities. In my discussion I will highlight the value of land use for each social class. Literature: I will use secondary sources. My research will come from two research papers.
