The people of Pakistan have lived in a situation that was imposed on them, without any action or contribution of their own. Day after day facing the music of the "war on terrorism", a term imposed, once again, on the Pakistani people who experience the "term" as their own reality, uninterested in the origin of the term. The term invented in the West was first used by American President George W. Bush, during the term in which the "war on terrorism" occurred. At Camp David George W. Bush in his speech said: "This crusade – this war on terrorism – will take some time, ..." and this marked the beginning of the frequent use of the term to legitimize and justify actions took place that had bigger and hidden agendas. Agendas that people don't care about, who actually experience the events of the "war on terrorism" and are part of the "collateral damage". The starting point of the "war on terror" was the famous 9/11 attacks on the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, USA, allegedly choreographed by the Muslim extremist group Al-Qaeda which ran its operations from Afghanistan. “Muslim extremists” in Afghanistan acted as a gateway for the war to spread to Pakistan. All the political and global statements and strategies to "fight" the war had a direct effect on people who were not even fully aware of the politics, of the bigger picture. A famous American actor and activist, Woody Harrelson, in response to the falling bodies in the "war on terrorism" said: "The war on terrorism is terrorism."
