Topic > Safety problems and precautions in ecclesial environments

A church is a place of worship and serenity. It should be a place of peace for all who enter, but hatred and personal revenge can get in the way. In this situation bombs, shootings and arson are becoming commonplace within the church. As our social environment appears to change, the physical security, personnel, information, and interdepartmental dependency components of a shopping mall may not fully match within an ecclesiastical environment. Highest and Lowest Value Church Security Objectives I think the security objective that deserves the most attention within a church environment is the physical security component. However, I think the interdependence component could work well in connection with the physical security aspect, if we look in terms of a church environment and not a corporate one. However, the security component that I believe is least relevant during a vulnerability assessment for a church environment is information security and personnel security. Many churches don't have much money and rely on volunteers to teach and take care of human and social projects inside. the congregation. An ecclesial environment welcomes all those from different backgrounds to worship together. Therefore, from a staffing perspective, this is not feasible because churches rely on volunteers who have chosen to teach and work on projects that are not necessarily aligned with obtaining personal wealth. Furthermore, there is no possibility of paid security personnel wandering the corridors during sermons as everyone is welcome to enter. Furthermore, information security would not prove to be an effective component even within a church environment, because it focuses on pro...... middle of paper ......integrating security through concepts present in the specific environment . However, depending on the environment, these efforts may not be applicable to every single situation. As we are thinking about the vulnerability of fires, arsons, and attacks in a commercial environment versus a church environment, physical and cross-departmental security efforts may have some similarities. However, the physical, interdepartmental, and personnel components align more with the mall environment due to a social society. Therefore, the creation of a stable and predictable environment is based on objectives that follow the concept of physical, personal, informational and interdepartmental dependence of the initial environment.
