Everyone knows that to be a functional human being, your health must be in order. Bacteria and disease can be sneaky forces if someone's system isn't equipped to fight them. To prevent such things from attacking our immune system, we turn to the doctor for guidance on how to take care of ourselves, but turning to these doctors comes at a price. Most people who live comfortably would tell you that their insurance covers every bump and bruise that appears on them, but what about those who can't afford health insurance? Fortunately for them, a document, The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, was signed into law by President Barack Obama so they can have the same opportunities for coverage regarding their health. Everyone needs to have health insurance to prevent the spread of disease, end disease-related impoverishment, and keep America's core workforce healthy. There have been several epidemics and epidemics in our nation and other areas of this world due to the weak immune system and no form of preparation to counterattack the bacterial cells that enter the bloodstream of the population. As time has passed and technology has advanced, practitioners in the medical field have discovered ways to stop certain reactions before they occur or cure them once they have already begun to harm an individual internally. But if there is a large portion of the population who cannot afford the things necessary to receive the aid that will improve their health, then diseases will continue to circulate and transform into even more dangerous compositions that will eventually overwhelm our medicines. And if we are unable to tame new viruses, the human race may cease to exist. Hundreds of thousands...... half of paper...... “Non-grandfather” plans must change before December 15, 2013, to ensure there are no gaps in coverage as existing plans will eventually terminate this year. Crucially, no one will be denied health services, benefits or prescription drugs, and monthly premiums will be calculated based on age, region and use of tobacco products. It is in the best interest of the public that health care be provided to all. I myself am preparing for a future in medicine and my main concern is to help everyone who needs it, not just a select few. Evidently there are many negative effects that arise from individuals not having health coverage and it can ultimately be a detriment to society if the problem is not resolved. With the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act this problem has a solution and can ultimately have a positive impact on many aspects of this country.
