In my classroom I want to focus on preparing my children for independence and the life that awaits them. Many students will come to me with no prior classroom experience and it will be my job to teach them. They will get into things, step away, distract themselves, and take action. I will create many shorter lessons that are direct and to the point, but still fun and exciting. I will try to focus these lessons on each student as an individual and put them at the center of attention so they can take charge of their learning. Some days will be harder than others; however, every day will be a valuable learning experience not only for the students, but for me as well
