Their ideas of what is right and what is wrong seem to be two opposing views. Thrasymachus' vision makes sense here in civilization, and it may be right temporarily here in civilization. Where those in power can stay in power by setting laws. It seems that Socrates talks more about morality. Anyone with power can do what is right, but that doesn't necessarily make it morally right. Socrates means that when people in power abuse their power, unfairly establishing rules to oppress those under them, they are being unfair to their soul. Any power can be abused and that can lead to something morally wrong
