As the population perceives inequality in the distribution of food and water and also inequality in income, this makes them dissatisfied or desperate. First, this leads to an increase in the crime rate. Because the poor need to ensure their survival, some rely on theft or get involved in drug distribution to afford or obtain their basic necessities: this includes the need for food, water, education or shelter. Furthermore, conflicts related to the struggle for natural resources will most likely increase due to their constant depletion. As a growing portion of the population becomes enraged by the chaotic effects of population growth, uprisings and even wars may occur. Overall, we can say that all the effects of population growth will not only lead to these same effects, but will also lead to even broader consequences.
