September 11, 2001 was the date of one of the worst terrorist attacks ever seen to date, this event dramatically changed the way people experience life daily life, and even the course of history. On the morning of September 11, three planes were hijacked with the aim of killing American civilians. Two of these three planes were flown into the World Trade Center towers, while the third was aimed at the Pentagon. For this reason, over the past decade the United States, among other countries, has fought a worldwide war on terrorism that has led to new laws and policies that have dramatically taken away the rights of human beings both abroad and domestically. national. the war on terrorism has irreparably changed the lives of millions of people around the world. This war did not start overnight, however, there were many signs that led to the war. The biggest sign was the September 11 attacks where thousands of people were killed in cold blood. This has brought the United States into a long and confusing battle against an essentially unknown adversary and has led to clashes throughout the Middle East over the past decade. During the past decade the United States has abused its power time and time again, although In an effort to combat terrorism, the United States should always do its best to remain true to its core values. The American government has passed bills and laws that go far beyond their rights, bringing the law into a gray area that allows the United States to abuse its powers and target innocent civilians while leaving them with few rights.
