Topic > Persuasive Essay on Endangered Species - 897

Imagine a world where there are no animals anywhere. There are still the normal cows, pigs, cats, dogs, but there is not a single tiger or rhino. People all over the world have been killing animals for thousands of years and they need to stop and obey the laws. Make your voice heard for animals; they can't speak for themselves, so we have to do it for them. Other reasons why animals are placed on the endangered species list and/or become extinct: habitat intrusion, pet trade, climate change, and disease. Please help us save the animals otherwise they will no longer be here. Poachers are everywhere; "heck", one of them could be your next door neighbor. Poaching is just one of the main causes why animals belong to endangered species, so with all these poachers we need to protect animals more closely. Animals close to extinction need to be placed in a zoo or sanctuary so they can thrive. People have to do this for animals, they may not like it, but it helps increase their numbers. Some animals need more protection than others because they don't particularly need to be on the list. Animals such as the bracelet tiger or siamang are the most threatened among others because they are loved for their skin or because they are sought after as pets. They trade pets there for life because they are so rare and beautiful. Just because animals are a prize to be killed or owned does not mean that people should harm or endanger them. Make your voice heard as a human race, our job is to protect what is theirs. Those who have no voice are the responsibility of the people to protect. Animals provide us with food, clothing, companionship and beauty. One of the endangered species was killed for its ivory. Asia...... in the center of the card...... keeping animals safe. In the world that people live in, it is a huge responsibility but also the greatest gift that people must love and protect. The human race must step up and express not only its own concerns, but the concerns of all animals whether endangered or not. All species that fall into the vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered categories are considered at risk of extinction. {Robert Redford} said, “I think the environment should be put in the category of defending our national security and resources because it is just as important as defense abroad, otherwise what is there to defend?” All people should take the environment more seriously and protect its future for those to come. It is our responsibility to ensure that the children who come can enjoy all the beauty of the earth, and not through old issues of [National Geographic's].
