This really helped me understand what Harry is talking about and I made a connection between Harry's video and what I am learning now in my assessment lesson. I knew that teachers' actions reflect on their students' learning and therefore their success. I learned that Wichita has a Megnant school that is the perfect high school to attend. My teacher Brian Had explained to us why that school is considered a perfect school in Wichita. The reason is that it has all the good teachers. So, hearing from Harry about an effective teacher reminds me of this school in Wichita. Also, I knew that good teachers are loved and liked by students and that's what I do. But they should also be effective and that helped me understand Harry's feelings towards Lora. [Harry's example of a kind but ineffective teacher]. I knew that teachers needed to leave an impact on their students, which is what my high school teachers did. When Harry talked about Lora I shook my head because I felt the same way he did about Lora's situation. It was kind but not effective. Our children, our students, need effective teachers to succeed throughout their lives. I remember my first grade teacher Nabeha. She was a very strict teacher, but a very effective teacher. She's exactly the opposite of Lora. Lora was kind but not effective, Nabeha was stern but effective. She is the person I owe my success to, besides my parents. She is the reason I was superior in all my school placements. My parents are also the two angels who are who I am because of them. When Harry talked about the two people who were the reason he is who he is, I was directly reminded of my teacher who influenced my learning and my parents who influenced my life. My teacher Nabeha and my parents were the reason I acquired much of my thinking, distinctive and still mine
