National news outlets and local news, however, are very different from TMZ. TMZ aims to publish all breaking news, while a national news organization focuses on raising awareness about what is happening in a certain area, they still try to publish breaking news, but don't rely on it and they use unethical routes to get the story. Furthermore, unethical practices help explain why journalists are highly untrustworthy and is not the only thing that determines why journalism is untrustworthy.
