"White, I'm so-" She began as her eyes met mine. "You promised." I said softly so as not to wake the neighbors at one in the morning. "But why am I not as disappointed as I should be? Oh yeah, you never keep a promise." I said giving him a dirty look and then going straight to my room. I entered the room, closing the door behind me. The room was dark, I can't even see my bed. I move my hands on the wall right next to the door until my hands find the light switch and I turn it on. The light came on and now I see everything in my room. After the dance studio, my room would be my second favorite place in the world. The blue walls and feminine decorations. This certainly reassures me. Aside from my messed up home life, my life has been pretty boring. I bet I was the only 17-year-old girl who had never been out of L.A., never been to a fair, never done a lot of things, really. It's like an endless list. My high school life was pretty boring, so I hope my college life will be better. I've never liked people, in general. I had about two friends in high school. I'm going to college in two days and getting a part-time job. I sat on the bed and turned on the laptop, for no reason. I heard him knock on the door and call, "Bianca, please." "Go away Carter, you're drunk." I snapped back. He promised, he promised me that he won't erase her water problems, he promised her that he won't. "You promised you wouldn't drink, again." "Well, guess what, Bianca! You promised me you'll be there when I need to talk, but you weren't there and I couldn't do anything about it." - he shouted back. He's right, I should have been there for him, but I was too caught up in the dancing that I didn't notice when the sun went down. I should have been halfway down the paper… at a distance and thinking about why people were looking at him in disgust, a woman entered the room. "Okay, socializing time is over and it's time to organize the dorm. You'll find out who your roommate is and you can even check out the room before you leave. First up, Lillian George and Sammy Parker, Georgia Miller and Mary Nizzlock " He continued calling names and handing over keys, and the students left the room one after another. "Harry Styles and Liam Payne, Nicola Arther and Sally Junes. And finally, Jane Cracker and Bianca Ashford." As our names were called, Jane and I both screamed excitedly at the same time and luckily for Luke and Mike, they got to be roommates and, unlike most teenage siblings, were actually happy about it. I remember a time when I was so close to someone, but I don't think it will ever happen again.
