The projection of energy use shows that it will not stop increasing and hoping not to attack the planet more than it has, the use of renewable energies such as solar, hydroelectric, wind and biomass energy is being stimulated. Despite all the difficulties in thinking about solutions, Control and Automation Engineering provides efficient ways to reduce energy consumption and can incentivize the use of renewable energy. The disadvantage is the price: high-tech devices are usually very expensive, especially immediately after their invention.
