After the Second World War, Germany was going through a serious economic crisis. The country's government faced numerous reparations after World War I towards Great Britain and France. This meant that Germany would have to pay for all the damages caused by the war from 1914 to 1918. Since Germany was heavily in debt, the country was looking for someone to step up and become a leader. Adolf Hitler thought he could be the leader everyone was waiting for. Unfortunately, Hitler's sudden need for power made everyone believe that what he said was the correct way to think. This led to millions of deaths and his final solution to restore Germany. During the time of the fall of Germany, Hitler decided that he would show everyone what Germany was made of. Adolf Hitler was dissatisfied with the German government and decided to make it happen. Of course, Hitler went to prison for treason on April 1, 1924. However, he did not understand why he went to prison. He felt like he was there to help and that everyone was overreacting. According to long discussions in English class, Hitler wrote a very opinionated and expressive novel about how the German government should be run. He wrote his highly popular novel while serving his five-year prison sentence. People from all over Germany wanted a copy of Mein Kamph. Since the book was a huge success, Hitler was released from prison early. He served nine months of his five-year sentence. Everyone felt that his book told the truth. Adolf Hitler soon became vice chancellor of Germany. Shortly after being appointed vice-chancellor, the German chancellor died, leaving Hitler as the new chancellor. Hitler became chansler in January 1933. That... middle of paper... basically burned people to death. As Hitler and his men prepared to send the people into the camps, a huge world war broke out. exploded. This started World War II. When this war began, Hitler put his Final Solution plan into action. Millions of people died in the camps. Knowing what happened helps everyone understand how crazy Hitler really was. Anne Frank was one of the people in a camp. He initially hid in the Secret Annex with his family because his sister was called to go to a camp. They did not register as Jews, so they were known as criminals when they arrived at the camp. Everyone in his family is dead except his father. He found her diary and translated the World War II experience through Anne's eyes into hundreds of languages. His diary helps everyone understand what really happened in Germany. Knowing what happened will help history not repeat itself.
