My style is considered participatory democratic and aligns with situational leadership theory. 3 actions/behaviors required to be a successful leader include being active and not passive, having/sharing a vision and finally being a role model. From this assignment I learned that being a participatory democratic leader is leadership that promotes the opinions of others and motivates others. This leadership style allows me to recognize when others are doing well, as well as make decisions when certain situations arise without group input.
