I study in my diction class by practicing my speech and organizing my ideas. I take notes and highlight my main points in my Computer Information Systems (CIS) course. I enjoy making up math problems and developing different ways of solving them for my math class. Freshman Seminar taught me about VARK and I've noticed that I acquire all four. I am a visual, auditory, reading, and kinesthetic learner. I learn visually by labeling, highlighting, and using PowerPoint. Including images and graphics is my specialty. I thought I wasn't an auditory learner, but I am. I can listen to music and I can apply that music by playing it on my clarinet. I call it "Improvising the Hidden Piece." I can scroll through the redundant paragraphs and look for the paragraph that provides a primary purpose. The paragraphs may repeat the same information over and over and do not appear to contain a useful source. Kinesthetic learning applies to coordination with the body, such as dancing or exercising. When I joined the marching band, I learned to play and march on the clarinet. Marching was exhausting, but performing with our instruments was the best
