Contrary to what one might believe, the problem of feminism is the misunderstanding of its definition. As a graduate of the Grier School, an all-girls boarding school, I feel like I constantly get questions about the nature of my education. Start with a gesture of respect to gauge how he will react to the questions everyone wants to know the answer to. The most common question Grier graduates hear is, “What is it like going to school without kids?” Graduates are quick to defend their alma mater with praise and insights into its inspiring and positive atmosphere. Most graduates do not mention boys in their answers. They reframe the question to the one no one asks: “What is it like going to school with all the girls?” Most people don't realize the importance of changing two words in a question until they answer it. Grier's education is not about excluding males; it is an education. However, the issue remains focused on the patriarchal dimension of society according to which women cannot function in the same way without the presence of men. Grier's teaching of feminism did not come from a textbook or course; it came from a series of realizations from shared experiences. The definition of feminism is the movement for women's rights in economic, political and social standards to be equal to those of men. More succinctly, it is about equality between women and men. The movement has become a battle of small steps. Women's suffrage in the early 20th century marks the initial push to pave the way for a more vigorous movement. It began to thrive with the fight for women's suffrage in the early 20th century and has not lost steam. Every small achievement in the women's rights movement became part of a larger fight for equality. Yet, women are… at the center of the paper… allow for greater potential for ideas. Feminism doesn't just stand for equality, it stands for growth in a culture where the word is presumed greedy based on misconceptions. Inaccuracy is the determining factor in the problem of feminism. There is feminism and there is misogyny. The middle is not available when it comes to human life. Women are valued or they are not valued. There is no region where one can remain neutral on the issue. The issue of feminism determines the value of human life and is not an attack on men. Men and women are equal when it comes to feminism. It means that a housewife is as good as her working husband. It means that a son believes that his mother deserves to be treated with the same rights as him. This does not mean openly identifying yourself as an activist but simply recognizing the right to equality between men and women.
