Topic > Unique Design and Call to Life - 882

We are all created in the image of God, yet we are all different in terms of our strengths, passions and life experiences. When God uses us with our plan, his kingdom is created and his will is done on earth. In this article I will try to describe to you my unique design and how this relates to my life calling. Life calling is the specific area where core values, unique design, and personal leadership overlap and align to create clarity or life calling. In Unique Design there are Strengths, Passions and Experiences. Our strengths come from aspects of the physical, emotional, intellectual, psychological, and spiritual categories that help us reach our potential. Each of these strengths must be considered in an asset-based approach. I don't look good, but I have the gift of oratory, so if I tried to use appearance it wouldn't help me on my journey to find my life's calling. Then we have passions which are driving forces that guide our lives and the choices we make. Then we have experiences that help shape our choices we make because of past events that have had a huge impact on us. Strengths are gifts we have to our advantage, but we must use them in a holistic, Bible-based, and asset-based view. Strengths, on the other hand, are what we use to define our unique design. Strengths are what we rely on mostly, for example if we are good at an intellectual level, we will mostly use those strengths instead of using emotional or physical strengths because we don't have a good measure of them. When we focus solely on our weaknesses, we will not fully understand our unique design. Weaknesses are the trail that the evil one uses and that make us doubt, they are life that calls us because we are unable to grasp the sign of what our strengths... middle of paper......dress the body . We have all these aspects but we do not have them in all sectors. Some people may be good musicians but may not be the best athletes, or some athletes may not be the best public speakers. People noticed that I have the gift of oratory because I needed to share how I can speak to the crowd and convey my information. Intellectual strengths are our strengths in how we create and how we connect our morality with reason. Of all the strengths we talk about in class, I think this is the one most involved in my life. First and foremost, I'd rather be the guy who's always thinking about different concepts instead of playing on a football field or lifting 300 pounds in the weight room. These two strengths are often the most talked about in the secular world, but alone they cannot help us advance our life calling.
